Emma Tacke serves as the senior manager of advocacy and policy for the DC Charter School Alliance. In her role, she helps develop and lead the organization’s advocacy and research efforts to advance its legislative and regulatory priorities, positions, and goals. Prior to joining the DC Charter School Alliance, Emma worked for a national organization that promoted restorative justice and the abolition of the death penalty. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota. Emma is originally from Boise, Idaho. She now lives in Washington, D.C., with her cat, Paloma.
